Stradbroke: Evening Stroll is the fourth in the Stradbroke Island series.

Stradbroke Island is a gorgeous spot about an hour's trip south of Brisbane off the coast of sunny Queensland, Australia. Fantastic place to visit (better place to live).

Hope you are continuing to enjoy this series.

This is a beautiful shot...I love how the sunset lights up the branch. Catches your eye right away and then sweeps you up to the top where the color is reflected again in the distance.

Thanx mate. It was quite late in the afternoon, about 3 minutes before I got the sunset shot at Straddie. The gold was the low evening sun.

There are times when I can just sit and stare at the light nowadays. I had no idea there were so many different shades of "sun."
